Jaden realized her passion for guitar at an early age. Starting her venture with classical Suzuki training, she quickly moved to acoustic and electric rock, teaching herself many of her favorite covers and writing her own original material. Her musicianship on the guitar and songwriting is beautiful and impressive. Possessing an amazing ear and an insatiable love for playing and performing, Jaden’s repertoire includes her beautiful and touching originals, as well as many covers by Michael Franti & Spearhead, Trevor Hall, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Ziggy Marley, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, The Grateful Dead, Peter Tosh, U2, Brett Dennen, and many more. She has had some great opportunities to play with Michael Franti and Spearhead, Trevor Hall, Chris Steele, Keaton Simons, Scott Messersmith, Garrett Sayers, Rob Drabkin, Curtis Salgado, Roy Wooten, Steve Kimock, Dave Watts, Radioactive, Matt Butler and The Everyone Orchestra, and many other amazing artists. Jaden has performed at national venues such as the House Of Blues in San Diego, The Gothic Theater in Denver, The Fox Theater in Boulder, and at numerous festivals across the country as well as at many benefits. She is also involved with some wonderful organizations such as Love, Hope, Strength and Feed Them With Music, and is an Arbor Collective Musician. When she’s not practicing or on stage with her guitar, Jaden plays soccer, mountain bikes and hikes all over Colorado, Nordic skis, draws and dreams. |
Hi, my name is Jaden. I live in Colorado and I play acoustic and electric guitar. I love playing guitar, especially in front of crowds and jamming with my musician friends. I started playing after going to a Michael Franti and Spearhead concert a few years ago. While I was watching the lead guitarist and bass player rip it up, I decided that playing guitar was going to be mine too. I started lessons with a great teacher, learning classical music. It wasn’t long before I was learning some pretty cool rock songs and figuring out many covers to play. I have written a lot of original music as well, and it was after my very good friend Versace encouraged me to start singing that I became a singer/songwriter as well as a guitarist. My first cd is titled “Midnight Sky” and was recorded and produced by Michael Ver Steegt in San Francisco. “Tell Me What You See” is my second full-length cd, and was recorded at Faultline Studios in San Francisco. I have had some great opportunites to play with Michael Franti and Spearhead, Trevor Hall, Chris Steele, Mario Pagliarula, Keaton Simons, Futureman, Steve Kimock, Dave Watts, Radioactive, and Matt Butler and The Everyone Orchestra. Through my music, I have met the most amazing people who have inspired and motivated me, as well as supported me on my journey. They have become both mentors and friends and I hope to continue along this path, as far as I can take it. Thank you for reading this, and I hope to see you at my gigs! Peace, Jaden |
